Eeva is a very…strict person, at least when it comes to herself. She does not allow herself to procrastinate on things, and takes any task or job she is given seriously, trying to finish it on the same day that it was given if possible. She’s also a perfectionist, redoing things over until it is exact and accurate if it can’t be that way the first time around. She strives to be optimistic and thinks any mistake can be fixed if you try and find the right solution for it.

When she has to work, she puts on a distant and rather emotionless front, sometimes hardly even noticing what might be going on around her if it is deemed unimportant and she’s focused on her task. Though, this is only when it comes to work, as when she does not have things that need to be done, she can actually be very friendly. Although, she dislikes doing one thing repeatedly or not having anything to do for a long period of time, and will find things to work on just to keep her busy, leading to her being sort of fidgety sometimes.

She’s very straightforward and always says what she’s thinking, which sometimes makes her come across as insensitive or rude. She’s not…most of the time…anyway. She just says what’s she’s thinking and isn’t really one to sugarcoat things, because too much sugar becomes sour sooner or later. She doesn’t feel the need to baby or coddle anyone when it comes to things that need to be said, and she sticks to that idea unless the person in question is considerably younger. (You have to let kids down gently, of course.)

¤ [Bio]:

Eeva was born to a Finnish businessman and a housewife, though her mother died of cancer when she was 3. After her mother died, she started seeing a small amount of spirits lurking around her house which she would follow around and tell her father about—though he brushed it off as it just being her “imaginary friends”.

During her elementary school years she did pretty well and got good enough grades, but kept feeling like something was amiss and that there were things out there that couldn’t be explained by the normal types of science her classes learned about. So then she decides to buy books on the supernatural/paranormal and any type of book that mentions ghosts or spirits, as well as writing down all of her theories and observations into a small notebook she keeps hidden in her bookshelf.

But soon after entering high school and continuing to see events of unexplained things that could only be labeled as paranormal, she begins to become paranoid about it and wondering if what she’s been writing and reading about could actually be real. Though, her friends believe that such things can’t exist and that she’s weird for thinking it could actually be real, which causes her to try and get over it so that she doesn’t get branded as a freak or a lunatic.

After graduating from her high school, she moves on to study to become a doctor and goes through 4 years of undergraduate college before applying to go into medical school. But she has to drop out after her first year due to her not being able to pay off all of her tuition and college fees, as she won’t let herself rely on the bank or her father to help her pay for it all. So she moves to Indenvale to work until she can find a way to go back to college and while unpacking all of her stuff into her apartment, she stumbles upon one of the old paranormal books along with the notebook she used to have which she never threw out due to her thinking it might come in handy again one day.

So, on a whim Eeva attempts to get back into her interest for the supernatural—though she’s not as excited about it as she was before—and searches for any information she can find about people spotting ghosts and specters, or anything she can find on the paranormal in general. Upon doing this, she finds a forum that is dedicated to talking about the supernatural and she decides to skim through it before finding a topic that talk about a mysterious website that no one can get into, along with rumors people have about what the site might contain.

Though she finds the subject interesting by this point, she thinks that she shouldn’t pursue it herself as she doesn’t consider herself a computer genius and wouldn’t be able to get into the website at all. But she figures that someone must have been able to get into it if so many people on one forum wonder about it, and decides to sign up for the site. She then makes a similar topic pertaining to the website, asking if anyone has any lead on what the website is actually about instead of just rumors. At which an anonymous person replies to her topic, which she finds strange as she thought that you’d have to sign up to be able to post anything but responds to the person’s reply anyway.

This colloquy only lasts over the span of a few days, but through it she learns more than what she did from the mere rumors, and after a short period of time she gets an offer through the mail asking if she’d like to learn more about the paranormal and work at the tower.

-Her locket used to belong to her mother, but it was passed down to her shortly before her mother passed away.

-She used to be a cheerleader during highschool. (Stayed on the team all four years of highschool.) [ This is sort of relevant to the weapon she chose, so fuq you I’m puttin’ this here.]

-Has a huge variety of paranormal/supernatural books stuffed in a bunch of boxes inside her apartment.

-Detests her height so, so, so very much. (But, well, she has to deal with it so she might as well keep her head held high and walk with proper posture. Don’t need to appear shorter than she already is.)

-Has an interest in Oneirology, or the scientific study of dreams, but she sees it as more of a hobby. (Using tarot cards is also just a hobby she picked up, though she doesn’t take it as seriously as she does Oneirology.)}
